Here is a 1939 halfpenny that I believe is a proof coin. It has the "wire" rims instead of the flat rims of a circulation strike. Also, the devices are frosted and the surfaces are very smooth. The photo does not begin to do the coin justice. Seaby S-6644. Coincraft IRHD-050.
